Kimberly Sharp

A dynamic change maker, Kimberly Sharp has than more twenty years experience in business management and consulting across a wide spectrum of business sectors. A Florida native she received her Bachelors in Journalism from the University of Florida and headed West to the bright lights of Los Angeles. There she worked for Capitol Records in the early 80’s producing music videos. Focused on film production, Kimberly worked on a number of major feature films with some of Hollywood’s top directors and producers.  In 1992, she was offered a position with Scott Sassa, then President of Turner Entertainment Group and Ted Turner. It was there Kimberly fell in love with the business side of the industry. Encouraged by both Scott and Ted, she received her MBA from Pepperdine and launched a consulting company blending entertainment production companies with digital start-ups in the late 90’s.  In 2000, she brought her talents to Mississippi where she began putting her love of business development and marketing into a family Investment Management Practice partnering with my husband, Steve. Targeting what she knew best, celebrities or at least celebrities of the South…grid iron gods, they launched a Sports Management division kicking if off with the NFL’s number 3 and 13 draft pick of 2001. It’s been recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the top 10 Wealth Management Practices in the South. By the early 2000’s another chapter came along,  motherhood with three beautiful daughters. Balancing work and family was never a problem with Kimberly’s high energy. Her passion for community development began pretty simply as neighborhood Social Chair, PTO President, and Historical Activist. Little did she know it would bring her to her next chapter. In 2015, Kimberly launched Think Sharp Creative, returning to her business coaching and consulting passion. She works with a number of private clients as well as organizations. Some of her clients include: The Livingston Community Foundation, TBK-To Be Kind, David Turner Companies, Southern Lifestyle Development, The Town of Lost Rabbit, The Speed Stable, Vitality Health, Belhaven Town Center, and The Lamar Oxford.
